Acoustical Mixcraft
This topic would be about the other software from Acoustica. It is called the “Acoustica Mixcraft”. Of course, for this software, it is applicable to use it to mix tracks that are recorded and combine them to construct a nicely toned song. While many professionals use this software to do their song mixing, normal people like you and me could even use it too, for our own DIY mixing. The good thing about this software is that it is affordable and has good functionality.
Here’s one of my own personal experience of using it. I have my band songs recorded using our own DIY methods, that is, without professional recording studio or mixing system. We bought our own drum microphones and overheads to record the tracks, using mixcraft, while connecting the laptop into a volume mixer in a jamming studio. The drummer will have his take, and once successful, we record other parts like the guitars, bass and vocals using a toneport – this instrument here would be talked about in the next post, so do follow up!
By using a layered track format, we manage to combine these recorded tracks together and mix it using mixcraft. Once satisfied, the song will then be exported out in any song format you want and there you go, a recorded song using DIY materials and Acoustica Mixcraft!
